Baby On Board!

We thought that 2008 was a busy year with getting married and all but 2009 is really showing me I thought wrong. We knew we were planned to start trying to have a baby but had no idea it's stick so fast. At this moment Michelle is right at 3 months pregnant and we're looking at a Thanksgiving baby. It's been a really exciting experience so far. Going to the first doctor visit, seeing the sonogram and hearing the heart beat were amazing. Michelle eating like crazy and gaining weight has been something I never thought I'd see. Anyone who knows my wife knows she is naturally skinny as a rail and picky about what she eats.

The parents have been particularly excited about the whole thing. On my side of the family we only have Gina's daughter so the parents are ecstatic about getting another grandbaby. On Michelle's side of the family our baby will be the very first. I suppose for next year we can expect everyone to want to come visit us for a change instead of making us go to them.

Building A House In Prairieville

As if I didn't put enough action in my life we purchased a 3/4 acre lot in Prairieville about a month before we found out we were having a baby. So life doesn't promise to slow down any in the near future. 2010 will be spent changing diapers and chasing after the sub-contractors I'll be hiring to build my new home.

Well that's my 30 second update on what I've been doing with my life. I keep forgetting to update this website as I'm always busy working on my Best Of Baton Rouge website when I'm not busy with other work or life. I have found time to brew some beer and have a fantastic "Black Beer" brewing.
