The snake got stuck and Al suspected we had a damaged main line in our sewer. What now?

Yep that's right we paid $300 for Roto-Rooter to shove a camera down our pipe and tell us exactly what we were dealing with. They discovered several places where the pipe was broken, cracked or crushes. Apparently it's had a rough life even though the previous owner had obviously replaced the pipe not too long ago. So $500 was the price for a final diagnosis.

We were informed that the price to replace our sewage pipe was around $2500 for our home. No thank you! If you have able bodies folks you can do it yourself with a little hard work, an excavator and a little know how we can do it for $200.
