Baton Rouge in September

Live After Five, LSU Football, Fun!

I must say I'm so happy that the hottest months are hopefully behind us. September is really when I start staying busy around Baton Rouge. Saturdays are a great time watching the LSU Football Team play. If you're just visiting Baton Rouge I highly advise you to either meet some people who do LSU tailgating or just show up in Purple and Gold! Be friendly and just mingle for a great time!

Live After Five - Downtown Baton Rouge

My girlfriend and I went downtown this Saturday to the impressively beautiful Wine Loft located downtown just off of third street in the Fuqoa building which is a 100 year old brick and mortar building. As I'm walking I see a banner for the Live After Five Concert Series thats held every year downtown in September and October. I was shocked because I've been searching for information online about the concert series and had no luck for finding it. As far as the search engines are concerned the website is impressively bad for a number of design reasons. Its good looking but thats where it stops.

Fortunately web design has no bearing on the fact that Live After Five is a top notch fun event for the whole family to enjoy. You're really not going to find a better event for Friday evenings for September and October in Baton Rouge.

UFC in Baton Rouge

I must say that "Ultimate Fighting / MMA" has really caught on in Baton Rouge. We now have Gladiator's Academy to go and learn the stuff. Also a number of restaurants have started showing the UFC in Baton Rouge. Hooters, Buffalo Wild Wings, Beef O'Brady's and I believe Fox and The Hound over off of College.
