LSU VS. Arkansas

Knew I should've bought tickets for this game

lsu Why oh why didn't I buy tickets for what was by far the best contested SEC game of the year between LSU and Arkansas. LSU finishing out the hardest road schedule I can remember and Arkansas trying to ride a winning streak to 10 games into the SEC championship game and possibly a national championship game. Hard hitting, non stop action and the game was over before I could sit down once with the LSU Tigers beating a team that looked like they would not be denied.

Arkansas Running Game

Oh my God what do you say about Darren McFadden and Felix Jones that hasn't been said before? Blinding speed and plays that would normally seem to be "trick" plays just work fine in their offense. These guys racked up over 300 yards against the number one defense in the country. Not to mention McFadden lead their team in passin? They marched down the field immediately as the game started and scored like they were playing the worst defense in the country instead of the first leaving Tiger fans dismayed at what was happening. When McFadden broke that 80 yard run my heart about dropped out and I felt like we were losing the game until....

LSU Special Teams

Before we can even get ready for the next drive Trindon Holiday bolts down the sideline for a 92 yard kick return nearly erasing from everyone's minds what McFadden had just done. This guy is unbelievable! He's 5'5", 160 lbs and so fast that its near impossible to touch him. LSU can definitely look to do huge things with Trindon's future.

Jamarcus Russell

LSU's junior quarterback made it happen this time making no mentionable mistakes and some huge plays to help the Tigers to victory. That heads up flick of the ball to Justin Vincent was absolutely beautiful. His accuracy was great and it showed with his stats.

Thanks Arkansas

That was a hell of a game. Watching the Wildcat offense played so beautifully was the most exciting thing I've done all football season.

Thanks LSU and Les Miles

Back to back 10 win seasons!! First time in school history and they did it in a season where you're playing 4 top 10 programs on the road. After the loss to Florida some of our fans were once again senselessly screaming for Les Miles to be fired and they should feel serious shame right now. As I said about firing Les Miles before, its just stupid. We are without a doubt in an excellent place right now as a program. Get real people.

Congratulations LSU football team, congratulations coach and we're looking forward to a big Rose/Orange bowl party and possibly the 3rd 10 win season next year! I'm definitely going to buy 2007 LSU football tickets!
