LSU Basetball Tickets
Why don't more people buy tickets?
With how much people complain that there isn't a thing to do I'm suprised
more people don't take advantage of LSU basketball games as something
fun to do at least once a week for January/February every year. First off
you have a team that makes it to the NCAA tournament just every year so
they're good. They're producing professional athletes such as Stromile
Swift, Brandon Bass, Ronald Dupress and not to mention Shaquille O'neal! AND
WAIT!! I didn't even mention the women's team which is a top 5 team every
single year! I know alot of you are probably thinking the same things I was
thinking when I started to remember that LSU basketball was something good
to go watch. So lets go over it...I don't have LSU Basketball Tickets: Thats ok! Because so many people don't realize that LSU basketball is there for our enjoyment you can walk up and buy them at the Pete Maravich Assembly center right at game time. The assembly center is located on LSU's campus and right next to the football stadium for all you football fans who don't realize we have a basketball team too. They're not expensive and LSU is almost constantly putting on promotions to draw in more fans. The way I started going was that someone gave me tickets to an LSU game. Its so much fun the P-Mac should never have open seats. I don't like college basketball or don't understand the game
This is most commonly the reason given by girls or fair weather football fans who only enjoy tailgating. College basketball is a high energy, flying, running and gunning impact sport. You don't have to know whats going on to know that when LSU freshman Tyrus Thomas takes off at light speed dunks the ball its a good thing. They play fun music to pump you up, they have a huge digital screen in the middle of the game to show game details and play games with the fans and they have entertainers and dancers to entertain the crowd during halftime and on breaks. Its a great time in an air conditioned environment that anyone of any age is going to enjoy regardless of how much you like or know basketball.
So I don't want to hear anymore complaining about lack of Baton Rouge entertainment. Come on people you have a NCAA division 1 school with as much excitement around its sports programs as any other college. Basketball is a showmans sport and LSU has the top talent performing right here in Baton Rouge! All you have to do is get your butt out of the house and go see it!
