I've about had enough of driving 15 minutes to the casino, waiting 30 minutes to an hour for a table and then having to drive home at the end of the session. I'm wasting at least an hour of my time waiting to play poker and more often than not playing with people I don't want to play with. I'm also not a smoker and don't care for drinking while playing and coming home smelling like I just put out a fire isn't fun. Well no more dirty old casino for me. I might play from time to time but I want to play poker from the comfort of home now so I'm setting up a Poker Stars account and getting ready to give it a shot. I have had a hard time funding the account because my credit card isn't good at online poker sites so I'm having to go through a third party banking program. Should be fun and I'll update after I get it all set next week but here is an analysis of the situation:
Reasons to play poker at home:
I can sit comfortable at my home
No slot machine noise
No irritating drunk people
No 30 minutes of driving
No waiting for a table
NO SMOKING
No people arguing with the dealers and other players
Reasons to play live poker at a casino:
Live action
Can take advantage of drunks and stupid tourists
Not alot of reasons are there?
in progress...
