Oregon Scientific Wireless Thermometer

Review on thermometer I was given for Christmas

Great idea for bbq lover

I can sincerely say this was the best Christmas gift I could be given for 2009. I love cooking but have always have the hardest time getting the cooking time on my meats right. Fortuitously a relative gave me the Oregon Scientific wireless bbq thermometer. Since getting this great little cooking thermometer I've been able to cook chicken and brisket in a way I could never cook them before. It's been absolutely great and for only $30 it's a real steal. As someone who's looked at other similar thermometers for home brewing I know that other options are extremely expensive.

Also Great for Brewing Beer

This great little device is rated for temperatures up to 392 degrees Farenheit and is very tough with a long probe which makes it ideal for brewing beer. I use a mashing tun that closes up tight and the probe fits well inside. The wireless readout allows you get a signal within 100 feet so I don't have to be right on top of my tun to be sure the temperature is right.

This digital thermometer is a great product and you can pick it up at your local Wal-Mart. If you've struggled with getting your grilled meats just right or need to keep tabs on the temperature of something such as a beer mas then this guy is great. Pick one up! Jerry W. Odom Jr.
