The Ultimate Fighter

Season 4 Finale for UFC Show

the ultimate fighter Its Ultimate Fight Night Live time for the finish of the reality show The Ultimate Fighter from The UFC. The third installment of this show has been a pretty good one especially in the reality show part of the show. The competition between the coaches combined with what happened with the fighters made this show very entertaining and worth watching. On the whole the fights weren't as good as those in the first two seasons but I think the final matches proved to be the best, most tenacious and most deserving fighters.

Tito Ortiz vs. Ken Shamrock:

Shamrock's job as a coach was pathetic throughout this season. I think that the number one reason the fights weren't as good as previous seasons was that Ken Shamrock didn't prepare his guys. Tito Ortiz got behind his group 100% and had them ready mentally and physically. Shamrock phoned in the coaching job and his guys suffered for it. It showed when they got whipped in the ring and it showed when none of his guys wanted to step up when Matt Hamill was injured. Had Tito picked Ed Herman then team Shamrock wouldn't have had a single guy in the finals. Total domination as a coach from Tito. Ton of respect for that guy as a coach now.

Ultimate Fighter Final Fights:

Kendall Grove vs Ed Herman

This is going to be a beautiful fight between two real fighters. Ed Herman is perfect for the 185 pound division and if he gets his head screwed on right he'll be a big star. Kendall is a hard working tough guy with some killer legs. Those kicks and knees were devastating in his last bout and I don't think this one will be much different. I think with the training Kendall got from his team combined with Ed just not being ready yet mentally make Kendall a favorite. I put Kendall at 3 to 2 favorite to win this fight but I think he might need to consider fighting at 205 with his 6'6" frame.

Michael Bisping vs Josh Haynes:

My thoughts on this fight are that Michael Bisping is a solid favorite to win this one. This guy has got skill, conditioning, desire, intelligence and mental fortitude that make him a solid competitor. Haynes is the dark horse of the season who won his way here on desire and will. Skillwise he's out matched by Bisping but if he makes it into a slugfest then he can take it. Not to say that The Count can't win a slugfest but thats Josh's best chance to take him out. I put Michael as a 2 to 1 favorite to take this fight.

Kenny Florian vs. Sam Stout:

This should be a really interesting bout. Don't let the records fool you as Kenny Florian lost to two of the absolute best in his division. Sam Stout is a slugger with a knockout record. I feel like unless Florian gets in there and does something different he's getting knocked out. I put Stout as a 2 to 1 favorite to win this bout.
